Role Purpose
Lead small to midsized enhancements and module rollouts, improve finance/process flows, and own backlog grooming and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)—partnering with accounting leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and Design: Map currentstate and futurestate for P2P, O2C, and R2R; recommend internal controls and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Configuration and Implementation: Configure modules, security, and workflows; plan/run UAT and training; manage release notes.
- Integrations and Data: Coordinate integrations (eConnect/SQL/ETL); oversee data migration, cutover, and reconciliation.
- Reporting and Analytics: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); deliver specifications for MR, SSRS, and Microsoft Power BI; partner with the BI team for dashboards.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years in Microsoft Dynamics GP implementations/support (version 2016 or later preferred). Handson with AP/AR/GL, SOP/POP, and Fixed Assets.
- Solid SQL comfort; able to create specifications and perform quality assurance (QA) for SSRS; strong stakeholder facilitation and documentation discipline.
- Bonus: change management, light project management, exposure to migration paths toward Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Additional Expectations
- Compliance and Security: Designs and enforces SoD within Microsoft Dynamics GP roles and workflows; partners with audit to maintain evidence and formal changecontrol.
- Shift Coverage: Defines and participates in oncall rotations; sets clear handoffs for crosstimezone teams.
- Tooling Stack: Handson with SmartConnect/KingswaySoft integrations; authors SSRS or Microsoft Power BI specifications; manages Jira/ServiceNow workflows; uses Git/Azure DevOps for versioning of SQL, reports, and documentation.
- Migration Experience: Contributes significantly to Microsoft Dynamics GP → Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) workstreams (fitgap, datamigration mapping, test strategy, training materials).
