Role Purpose
Own the Microsoft Dynamics GP roadmap and architecture (onpremises or hosted), govern integrations and reporting, and lead modernization (for example, Microsoft Dynamics GP stabilization followed by phased migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Business Central (BC) or Finance and Operations (F&O) where relevant).
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap and Governance: Define a 12–24month ERP roadmap (stabilize vs. replatform), SoD policy, and audit readiness.
- Architecture: Own the data model, integration patterns (eConnect/Representational State Transfer (REST)/ETL), performance tuning, and reporting strategy (SSRS/Microsoft Power BI).
- Delivery Leadership: Lead crossfunctional squads; conduct vendor selection and management; manage program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Modernization: Plan and derisk Microsoft Dynamics GP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) migration (pilot scope, data strategy, change management, training, cutover).
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years with Microsoft Dynamics GP across multiple modules/industries; led three or more endtoend programs (implementation or major upgrade).
- Deep SQL, performance tuning, and integration design; strong audit/compliance and partner management.
- Proven track record guiding Microsoft Dynamics GP estates toward D365 – Business Central (BC) or Finance and Operations (F&O) with pragmatic stagegates.

- Compliance and Security: Owns SoD policy, periodic access reviews, and audit readiness; establishes changecontrol and release governance.
- Shift Coverage: Designs global support coverage (followthesun or oncall), with clear SLAs and escalation paths.
- Tooling Stack: Selects and governs the enterprise toolchain (Jira/ServiceNow, SmartConnect/KingswaySoft, SSRS/Microsoft Power BI, Git/Azure DevOps) and sets coding/reporting standards.
- Migration Leadership: Leads the Microsoft Dynamics GP → Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) strategy and execution (business case, phase plan, data strategy, cutover, hypercare), including partner/vendor management.
